The three day event which started on Tuesday, September 28th, 2021, was set to act as a precursor to the United Nations Climate Change conference which is scheduled to be held in Glasgow, Scotland, this November 2021. Kamaal was one of the 400 global youth leaders who were converging in Italy for the event and have been there for the last two days from across the world to discuss the devastating effects of climate change and to further propose lasting solutions for this emerging global threat.
Amoud University has the distinct honor and pleasure to see its students not only excel in their studies but also contribute in trying to find long term solutions for such challenges at the highest global level. We therefore heartily congratulate Kamaal who attended the youth for climate change event and applaud him for such efforts even as he continues to build his profile and gets to be a trail blazer, along the lines of climate change. Kamaal has been a passionate activist on matters of environmental advocacy and has taken several initiatives related to climate change action which have elevated him to his current role.
