Freshman Examinations set for July 18th, 2020 - July 22nd, 2020

Earlier on Thursday, July 16th, 2020 Amoud University senate sat to make crucial decisions with regard to final examinations for the freshman department.

The senate meeting chaired by Suleiman Hassan Ali was held at the senate hall, main campus, Amoud University, Borama.

During the meeting, several deans of faculties and directors were present including Abubokor Said Ali, - Dean, Faculty of Business & Public Administration, AU, Edwin O. Okech, - Dean, Faculty of Computing & ICT, AU, Mohamed A. Osman - Dean, Faculty of Agriculture & Environment, AU, Abdirizak Mahamud Osman, - Dean, Faculty of Economics & Political Science, AU, Abdirahman Ahmed Muhumed, - Dean, Faculty of Education, AU, Harun Ismail Warsame, - Dean, Freshman Department, AU, Bishar Elmi Yey, - Director, Quality Assurance and Management of Standards (QAMS), AU, Dr. Mohamed Ali Nageeye, - Dean, Faculty of Sharia & Law, AU and Eng. Abdikarim Idiris Nour, - Dean, Faculty of Engineering, AU.

The senate resolved that Freshman classes A, B, C, D, J would take exams at Sh. Ali Jowhar Secondary School, while E, F, G would have their exams at the New Building, Town Campus, Amoud University and further H, L, K, L, M, N, O, P would sit their final examinations at main campus, Amoud University, Borama.

The examinations, it was decided were to be held from Saturday, July 18th, 2020 an would continue for five (5) days ending Wednesday, July 22nd, 2020. The courses to be examined for Semester I include Islamic Studies, Reading Skills II, Calculus I, General Physics and General Chemistry.
