Amoud University undergraduate to close for four weeks from January 31st, 2021

Amoud University is closing for end of semester holidays Sunday, January 31st, 2021.

These include all campuses in Borama offering undergraduate courses, in Borama Campus including Amoud Valley, Main Campus, Sharia and Law Campus, Borama Town and Amoud College of Health Scinces (ACHS), Borama Town Campus. The university management, under the leadership of Prof. Suleiman A. Gulaid announced through Dr. Mohamed Muse Jibril (PhD), Vice President, Academic Affairs, Amoud University the commencement of the holidays which are scheduled to run until end of February 2021 when the undergraduate programmes will resume.

During the February holidays, final year students are expected to start their Industrial Internship/ Field Attachment in various organizations.

The main aim of Internship course is that the course provides the student with the opportunity to apply knowledge obtained from years one (1) through four (4) to real life work situations in industrial, educational, scientific and commercial areas. The learning outcome for the course is that the student will be attached in a formal organization so as to acquire hands on practical skills experience for a period, normally not less than four (4) weeks. The student shall gain invaluable experience in people skills.
