The weekly meeting for Amoud University Academic Committee took place on Tuesday, October 12th, 2021 at Senate Meeting Hall, Main Campus, Amoud University.

Among issues that were discussed were Course outline, Course offerings, consolidation of various academic units' almanac into Amoud University almanac, Mode and structure of PGDE programme, Students union establishment, Re-exam/ special exams for faculties start date and end dates, Freshman syllabus and proposed course reviews.

The senate agreed that university almanac would be discussed upon submission of other calendars including from other central units, which would be concluded on Tuesday, October 25th, 2021. With regard to students union members the Dean, Office of Students affairs and Counseling Services (OSACS) reminded deans of faculties of the needs for proper vetting of students who would be suitable for the three positions for faculty chairperson, vice chairperson and secretary, and submit such a list to OSACS. Criteria and guidance had been given by OSACS, and that ought to be followed so that the best performing, most active students names would be forwarded to the students union.
