Amoud University held its twentieth(20th) graduation ceremony for the class of 2021 on Sunday, September 12th, 2021.
Delegates from Amoud university led by Prof. Suleiman Ahmed Gulaid, President, Amoud University, on September 7th, 2021 visited Haramaya University, Ethiopia, with a view to exploring future collaborations betweeb Amoud University and Haramaya University.
Accompanying the president were Dr. Mohamed Muse Jibril, vice president, Academic Affairs, Amoud University alongside Mr. Mohamed Heban Awale, Director, Project Developments, Amoud University and Dr. Abdirahman Mahamed Jama, Clinical coordinator, Amoud University.
Prof. Suleiman Ahmed Gulaid, President, Amoud University, on September 21st, 2021 appointed Mr. Mohamed Heban Awale as Director, Project Developments, Amoud University.
In an official communication through a letter of reference number AU/ADM/1068 and dated August 12th, 2021, the president made the announcement, copied to all office holders, Amoud University.
The president cited the recommendations from members of the executive committee of Amoud University and the excellent work undertaken in this sector by the appointee throughout the university as the major factors that were taken into account during the decision making process.
According to the letter, the appointment takes effect as from Wednesday, September 1st, 2021.

Amoud University received a delegation from Food and Agriculture Organization of the United Nations (FAO) on Wednesday, August 12th, 2021 at the main campus, Borama, for a follow up meeting on SIRA project for building of resilience by enabling agro-pastoralist communities to enhance fodder production and stronger market systems to absorb and adapt to shocks and stress.
