
School of Postgraduate Studies and Research, Amoud University, officially reopened for the 2021/2022 academic year in AUSPGSR, Hargeisa campus, on Wednesday, October 13th, 2021.
The opening ceremony for the commencement of the new academic year was held at SPGSR grounds, Hargeisa campus on the same day.
The vice president warmly welcomed the new students to the campus and also gladly welcomed back the continuing students to the premises. Furthermore, Dr. Mohamed announced the commencement of PhD programmes for various courses at AUSPGSR, to be offered through a partnership agreement between Amoud University and Haramaya University, Ethiopia.
Present during the event were, the Chief guest, Dr. Mohamed Muse Jibril, Vice President, Academic Affairs, Amoud University, alongside Prof. Mohamed Mohamoud Jama “Derie” , Vice President, Students and Affairs, Public Relations and Community Outreach, Amoud University, who were hosted by Mukhtar Abdi Omar, Dean AUSPGSR, alongside Associate Deans, AUSPGSR, Hargeisa campus and the new and continuing students.
