About the VP
There shall be one or more Vice-Presidents for the University as needed. In addition to aiding the President in their duties, the functions of the Vice-President shall include: coordinating the daily activities of the Deans and other functional units of the University to ensure harmonious functioning; presiding over sessions of the Senate and specifically the head of academic programs of the University under the overall supervision of the President; and being acting President of the University in the absence of the President and any other task assigned to them by the President.

I am thrilled to share with you an overview of the exceptional academic resources and opportunities available at our esteemed university. As the Vice President of Academic Affairs and Research, it is my honor to lead initiatives aimed at enriching our academic environment and fostering groundbreaking research endeavors.
We are proud to host 12 diverse undergraduate faculties and a distinguished School of Postgraduate Studies, offering a total of 32 undergraduate programs and 26 postgraduate programs. This comprehensive range of academic disciplines ensures that every student can pursue their passion and achieve their academic goals with excellence.
Furthermore, our university boasts extensive libraries stocked with a vast array of reference books, providing invaluable resources to support scholarly pursuits. In addition to our traditional libraries, we have embraced the digital age with a cutting-edge digital library, offering convenient access to a wealth of online resources for research and study.

Functions of the Vice-president
The Vice-President of academic affairs shall diligently coordinate and manage the daily activities of the Deans and other functional units of the esteemed University to ensure smooth and harmonious functioning of the institution. Furthermore, they shall judiciously oversee and lead the sessions of the Senate, and be responsible for overseeing all Academic Programmes of the University, under the astute guidance of the President. In the event of the President’s absence, the Vice-President’s capacity shall expand to that of the President, and they shall proactively take on any additional tasks assigned by the President, and execute them with utmost efficiency.
