About the VP
There shall be Vice President for Public Relations and Extracurricular Activities, who shall, under the overall guidance and supervision of the President, be the head of students’ affairs and be responsible for planning, organizing and management of social, counseling, games and recreational services.
Message from the Vice-president
I am honored to address you as the Vice President for Public Relations and Extracurricular Activities at Amoud University. In this capacity, I am entrusted with the responsibility of fostering strong relationships within our university community and beyond, while also enhancing the overall student experience through a range of extracurricular activities.
At Amoud University, we understand the significance of creating a vibrant and engaging environment that goes beyond academic pursuits. Our commitment extends to providing opportunities for holistic development and meaningful engagement outside the classroom.
I am fortunate to work alongside a dedicated team of directors, each overseeing crucial aspects of our extracurricular endeavors. Allow me to introduce them:
- Director of Protocol and Events: Responsible for orchestrating and managing media, communications, and various university events, ensuring they are executed seamlessly and leave a lasting impression on our community.
- Director of Student Affairs: Dedicated to supporting the welfare and enrichment of our student body, this director oversees initiatives aimed at enhancing student life and fostering a sense of belonging.
- Director of Alumni: Cultivating and maintaining strong ties with our alumni network is vital to our university’s success. This director spearheads efforts to engage alumni and harness their expertise and support for the benefit of current students and the institution as a whole.
- Director of International Partnership and Projects: In today’s interconnected world, fostering international collaborations is essential. This director works tirelessly to establish partnerships with institutions globally, facilitating exchange programs, research collaborations, and other initiatives that broaden our horizons and enrich the academic experience.
- Director of Gender Affairs: Committed to promoting gender equality and creating an inclusive environment, this director leads efforts to address gender-related issues, implement policies that ensure equality, and empower all members of our community to thrive.
Together, we are dedicated to advancing the mission and vision of Amoud University, enriching the lives of our students, faculty, staff, and alumni, and contributing positively to society.

Functions of the Vice-president
It shall be the responsibility of the Vice President for Public Relations and Extracurricular to:
- Monitor, supervise, and oversee the planning, development, and efficient and effective implementation of extracurricular activities in all campuses of Amoud University;
- Ensure the effective and timely provision of guidance and counseling services to all students;
- Obtain, develop, organize and store data and information on all students for purposes of guidance and counseling;
- Protect the environment, and ensure the sustainable use of natural resources at the University;
- Design, develop, secure, and maintain a descent physical appeal of the university;
- Maintain public and community relations of the University and promote the University’s image locally and internationally;
- Carrying out any other task assigned by the President from time to time.
Under the supervision of the President of the University, the Vice President for Public Relations & Extracurricular Activities, Community Outreach, and Physical upkeep will be responsible for:
- Overseeing overall extracurricular activities throughout Amoud University campuses. The Office of Student Affairs and Counseling falls under this Division.
- Overseeing the Libraries of Amoud University and ensuring the protection of library assets and the provision of efficient services.
- Ensuring that university properties such as buildings and equipment are maintained and protected by concerned departments.
- Overseeing all landscaping and the protection of the environment at Amoud University campuses.
- Supervising security personnel of the university.
- Maintaining public and community relations of the university and promoting its image.
- Completing any other tasks assigned by the President.
