Amoud University Welcomes High-Level UNICEF Somaliland Delegation to Strengthen WASH and Research Cooperation

Borama, Somaliland — May 25, 2026: Amoud University main campus hosted a
high-level delegation from UNICEF Somaliland. The official visit aimed to
explore strategic partnerships, strengthen institutional ties, and foster
collaboration in key developmental sectors across Somaliland.

The visiting delegation was led by Ms. Abigail Tevera, the Head of the Water,
Sanitation, and Hygiene (WASH) Section for UNICEF Somaliland. She was
accompanied by Ms. Suhuur Muuse alongside other key officials from the UN
agency, including, Mr. Mohamed Amin Adan – Water, Sanitation & Hygiene Officer, UNICEF and Mr. Mohamed Ahmed Guleid – Security Officer, UNICEF

The UNICEF delegation was warmly received by the senior management team of Amoud
University, showcasing the institution’s commitment to global partnerships. The
